Week in Review

This last week has remained a busy one, on the days we don't have baseball practice, we usually have football practice, on some days we do both. Between all the practicing, we are watching and planning for our All-Star adventure in July, the 15 year old do not participate in a district tournament, but go directly to state. Here's hoping for another great adventure! Next up.....another hectic week- I wouldn't have it any other way :)

Father's Day 2013

For Father's Day, we took a trip to Bridal Veil Falls where we met up with Papa, Grandma, Becca and her family, and Ryan and his family. We had a great bar-b-que then hiked up to the falls to take some family pictures. It was crazy busy there today so we didn't get all the pictures we wanted but had a great time none-the-less. Happy Father's Day to all the father's out there!

Closing Day and All-Stars

Closing day was June 15, 2013, Taylor's team didn't have a game scheduled but he got called to fill in for another team and played in a game where they won 16-8. After all the games, they announced the league winners, handed out hats for the winners of the Ice Breaker Tournament, and announced the All-Stars for the 2013 season. Taylor's team won the Ice Breaker Tournament, took 1st place in the league and he was selected as an All-Star! Great Job Son, I look forward to more baseball!

Lagoon-Pioneer Village

While at Lagoon, we opted to get pictures taken at the Old Time Pioneer Village. Here is one of the pics-

Baby Bears

During one of our trips for a Cheer Competition, we were able to stop in at the Sportsmen's Expo where they had 3 baby bear cubs which you could hold. We waited in line and held the cute little thing. I wanted to bring him home but couldn't make a deal with the handlers, almost traded for some Cold Stone Ice Cream. He was so soft and cuddly. Now I want one even more than I did before ;)

Babe Ruth Season 3

Taylor is now in his 3rd (and last) season of playing Babe Ruth Baseball. He has done really well this year and is now playing the waiting game to see if he was chosen for this years 15 year old All-Star Team, we will know the results on Saturday. Everyone keep your fingers crossed :) Here are some pics from this season.
His team-Tram was also the winner of the Ice Breaker Tournament at the beginning of the season. Good Job Tram!

UPDATE!.........I know FINALLY......

Well the last 3 months of school were jam packed with things going on. We had work, choir concerts, music programs, baseball, drill team programs, birthdays, and every day life. In March, Wyatt celebrated his first year with a tractor party. He enjoyed smashing up his cake and getting his wagon.
With April came Taylor's Birthday and Leyton's. Taylor picked out some Chicago Bulls shirts for his birthday and Leyton got a new bike. He was so excited and has been taking really good care of it since then.
Next up was May, In May we had the final cheer competition at Lagoon, it was rainy day, but we braved the rain and watched the girls perform, they ended up taking 1st in both of the routines that Schydi was in. Nice Job Fierce Cheer! After the competition, the rain subsided and we were able to go on some rides. All in all it was a great day with the family. We were glad so many others could join us.
After Lagoon was the end of the school year, I have now successfully put in my first year of teaching. I am on my way to getting my endorsements for Special Education, can't wait until those are all finished! Also in May was Schydi's birthday. She celebrated Hawaii style with grass skirts, cake, and punch. Here are a few pics from her party, she also received a new bike.
The last few months have been very busy, but a lot of fun! Looking forward to the next few months still have a lot going on!
