Bear Lake Days 1 &2 Summer 2014
This year we went to Bear Lake for the 4th of July. I think it is safe to say we all had a blast!
Day one we left home early, early in the morning, 2 a.m. to be exact. This made the ride very peaceful as the kids slept most of the way there. We arrived about 7 a.m., the view from the top of the canyon was amazing. We were able to call our campground and check in early, we got set up and enjoyed the day. After asking around and a little internet surfing, I found out that a place called the Ideal Resort was going to open up their gates and allow visitors to watch the fireworks over the lake from their lawn, we decided to do it. We all loved the resort so much that we plan on looking into it more and possibly staying there the next 4th of July instead of camping. The fireworks show was a lot of fun to watch.
Day 2- We drove to Paris, Idaho to check things out. They were having a parade that day, but we opted not to wait 2 more hours before it started, so we drove back to North Beach at Bear Lake and played in the sand.
